Pink Orchid

As a symbol of grace, gentleness, innocence, happiness, playfulness, and fertility, pink orchids appear as a sweet bloom. Pink is one of several natural orchid colors. Many orchid species and hybrids bloom, ranging from pale pink to deep rose to magenta. These include numerous cattleya orchids, the type with flowers that are often used to fashion corsages. Orchids are also believed to bring good luck and prosperity. In ancient Japan, the orchid was considered a symbol of wealth by royalty, who kept the flowers in their temples and commissioned them in their painted scrolls.
