eBay Inc. is an American e-commerce company and its currently the largest online auction business. It was founded in 1995 in San Jose, California by Pierre Omidyar. The idea was to create an online marketplace for sellers and buyers to interact directly. Pierre took that idea seriously and created a company called Auction Web, which was changed to eBay in 1997. Today, thanks to eBay, if you have something to sell or want something to buy you go to eBay. The whole world is your marketplace with eBay. That's why we are adding new Web Media mouse cursors as fanart with the eBay logo on them.
