Captain Righteous is an elderly superhero of Townsville, the main setting of the Powerpuff Girls animated series. Along with his partner Lefty, this character is used to fight against the supervillain trio, the Ministry of Pain, successfully foiling their plans. Being a sort of stereotypical hero in his youth, Captain Righteous now appears quite different: fat and short, with a wrinkled face; however, he still wears his superhero suit and mask with a star right in the center of his forehead.
