Other names Doom Slayer goes by include Unchained Predator, the Beast, and the Hellwalker. The character is considered a modern version of the classic DOOM Marine, the main character in earlier games. Initially, he was a human who served in the Marines on Earth but was discharged dishonorably for refusing to fire on unarmed civilians and then assaulting his commanding officer.
