Ghostbusters Egon Spengler and P.K.E. Meter

Egon Spengler, also known as Egie or Spengie, is a professor of paranormal studies at Columbia University. Egon together with Doctors Ray Stantz and Peter Venkman founded the Ghostbusters corporation but only Ray, like a real friend, understands Egon with no trouble. Egon had a hard childhood; he grew up without any toys just because his parents didn't believe that he would achieve anything at all. But even when his parents lost their hope in his future, he graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Psychology in 1969 and from New York University with a degree in Parapsychology in 1972.
