Mappy is a plucky mouse police officer tasked with recovering stolen goods from the cat gang known as the Mewkies. Developed by Namco and released in 1983, Mappy was a unique departure from the traditional platformers of the time. Mappy is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the Mappy series.
