Luna or Sailor Luna is a talking black cat that appears in the very beginning and consults Sailor Moon and the Sailor Guardians as well as trains them. Further in the series, Luna bathed with the Silver Crystal and got the ability to transform herself into Sailor Luna and also to have a human form.
