Do you know why Tic Tac so has such a name? When Tic Tac was first introduced in 1969 they were called ‘Refreshing Mints’. Not as catchy as Tic Tac, eh? It was a year later that the name was replaced by ‘Tic Tac’. The name was inspired by the rattling sound of the little Tic Tacs you hear when the little box is opened and closed.
