Yu-Gi-Oh! Yugi Muto and Millennium Puzzle

Yugi Muto, or Mutou, is the main protagonist of the original Yu-Gi-Oh series, stated once to be the modern-day interpretation of Pharaoh Atem. Together with the spirit of Pharaoh Atem, he holds the title of King of Games. Yugi had the three-thousand-year-old mystical Millennium Puzzle, which you see in our fanart anime cursor. It allowed his body to bear host to the spirit of the Puzzle, Yami Yugi. At first, he wasn't aware of his presence and influence over Yugi's body and would automatically transform into Yami Yugi during challenging moments.
